Broccoli

Culture: Broccoli can tolerate a wide range of soils but does best in well-drained, organic-rich soils. Broccoli can tolerate light frosts, so it can be planted early. Harvest the mature head by cutting the stock, when the head is tight and before the flowers open.  Leave the plant in the ground and side shoots will develop.   Plant in full sun.
