This Asian eggplant is dark purple with glossy skin. It grows 8-10" long with a 2" diameter. Sets fruit in cool weather as well as under heat stress.
Culture: As with most vegetables, eggplant prefer to be planted in a rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Plant eggplant only after all danger of frost has passed. Eggplant are heavy feeders and benefit from extra fertilizer throughout the growing season. Harvest fruits when they are firm and glossy.
